Generate QR CodeWhat a Wi-Fi QR Code is and how it works
A Wi-Fi QR Code is a code with the network name, the password and the encryption type written inside it. The phone reads them with its camera and connects by itself. Your guest has no password to copy off a scrap of paper, and you have none to read out loud to every one of them.
They point a phone camera at the code — no app needed.
An offer to join your network appears on the screen.
They press the button — and the phone is on the network; the password they never even see.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR Code?
The same pattern on paper — different options once it is printed.
- A static code is tied to its link for good, and that link cannot be changed.
- Analytics are not available for codes like this either.
- The link or the file the code leads to can be changed at any moment.
- Analytics show the number of scans, the countries and the devices.
- You can set a password, an expiry date and a limit on how many people it lets in.

A QR Code in your brand colours
Add a logo, your brand colours and the shape of the elements — and the QR Code becomes part of your design on packaging, in a menu, on a business card or in a shop window.
- Logo — upload your own file.
- Colours — set the code, the background or a gradient.
- Shape and eyes — choose the shape of the elements.
- Frame — add a caption and set the style.
- Preset — save the styling for your next QR Codes.
Where a Wi-Fi QR Code earns its place
Anywhere the network is handed out for a while and to a stream of people: the guest connects on their own, and nobody has to spell a password across the room.
A café and a restaurant
A sign on the table or a sticker by the till. The guest sits down, points a camera — and is online without catching a waiter’s eye. On that same sign there is room for a menu QR Code.
A hotel and a holiday flat
A card in the room and one at the desk. A guest checks in late, asks nobody anything and is online straight away — and you are not copying the password onto a scrap of paper for each arrival.
A coworking space and an office
At reception and in the meeting room — the code for the guest network. Visitors and contractors sit on that one, while the working network keeps its own password.
A salon and a barbershop
A client waits their turn with a phone in their hand. A code by the mirror or on the reception desk settles the question without a word.
A house you let to guests
A magnet on the fridge or a frame in the hall, instead of a sixteen-character password that has to be hunted down in an old chat every time.
A short check while the sign is still on hold
Capitals and small letters matter, and a stray space at the end shows itself only when the connection has already refused to go through.
Yours already remembers the network and will join it even from a wrong code — it will show you no error at all.
“Guest Wi-Fi” and the name of the network: a person should know what is about to happen before they raise the camera.
Paper glares and prints less crisply than a glowing monitor. Scan it from the distance your guests will be scanning it from.
