vCard QR Code Generator
Build a card with your photo, your contacts and your social links — the QR Code opens it on the other person’s phone, and one tap saves you to their contacts.
This is a sample — generate your own QR Code
Generate QR CodeWhat a vCard QR Code is and how it works
A vCard QR Code is a code with your card behind it: a photo, your name, your job title, phone numbers, email and links to your social profiles. The other person points a camera at it, sees the card and takes you into their contacts with one tap — nothing to copy off a piece of card.
It sits in the corner of the card, on a badge or on a sign. The other person points a phone camera at it — no app to install, the built-in one is enough.
Your page opens: the photo, the job title and the buttons — call, write, open the website, get directions. Everything you filled in is listed underneath.
One tap on “Save contact” — and you are in their address book in full: name, company, job title, every phone number and the email. Nothing is typed by hand.
That is why a card built with us is always dynamic: the phone number, the job title and the photo are edited after printing, while the pattern of the code stays the same. The same place shows how many times the card has been opened.
No need to build it again: on the next tab of the generator paste the address of your own page — LinkedIn, Linktree or a personal site. The address behind the code can be changed later too.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR Code?
The same pattern on paper — different options once it is printed.
- A static code is tied to its link for good, and that link cannot be changed.
- Analytics are not available for codes like this either.
- The link or the file the code leads to can be changed at any moment.
- Analytics show the number of scans, the countries and the devices.
- You can set a password, an expiry date and a limit on how many people it lets in.

A QR Code in your brand colours
Add a logo, your brand colours and the shape of the elements — and the QR Code becomes part of your design on packaging, in a menu, on a business card or in a shop window.
- Logo — upload your own file.
- Colours — set the code, the background or a gradient.
- Shape and eyes — choose the shape of the elements.
- Frame — add a caption and set the style.
- Preset — save the styling for your next QR Codes.
Where a vCard QR Code works best
Anywhere you introduce yourself: on a card, on a badge, on an office door, in an email signature. The code is printed once, while the name, the job title and the phone number are edited afterwards.
A paper business card
The code in the corner of the card: the other person points a camera and saves the contact, and the card itself can travel wherever it likes. Paper stays a ritual, the number goes into the phone. If all you need to show are profiles and messengers, there is a social media QR Code.
A conference badge
Instead of swapping pieces of card — one look at the badge. The code opens a card with a photo on it, and a week later the person still remembers who they spoke to.
An email signature and a phone screen
A picture of the code goes into an email signature or opens on the screen when you meet: showing a code is quicker than hunting through pockets for a card.
An office door, a counter, a stand
A sign by the door or on a trade-show stand: a visitor takes your contact away even when you are not there. Getting them all the way to the door is a job for a Google Maps QR Code.
A van and workwear
A sticker on the side of a van, on a tool box, on a fitter’s apron: the client takes the whole contact away instead of copying a number off a moving vehicle.
A short check while the cards are still on hold
The photo, the name and the job title should look the way you want to present yourself.
Check that the name, the phone number and the email land in the address book correctly and that nothing goes missing.
A couple of centimetres is enough for a code on a business card, but it needs a quiet zone around it: right up against the edge a camera will not catch it.
Print a single copy and point a camera at it from arm’s length — that is how business cards are looked at.
