Generate QR CodeWhat a menu QR Code is and how it works
A menu QR Code is a code on the table that opens the menu on the guest’s phone. Dishes and prices are edited in your account while the code on the sign stays the same — no reprinting the signs after every correction.
The guest points a camera at the code on the table or in the window.
The menu opens on the phone — with photographs and categories.
They scroll through the sections and choose without waiting for a waiter.
A cover, the venue name, dishes by category with prices and photographs, and buttons at the foot of the page — “Address”, “Wi-Fi” and “Phone”. You do not have to start from a blank page: the “Load an example” button fills the form with a ready menu, which you then rewrite for yourself.
The menu is already laid out as a PDF, JPG or PNG — the code opens the file as it is, with all the work your designer put into it. A new version replaces it in your account, and the signs stay on the tables.
The menu lives on a website or in a delivery service — the code leads there. This is the only one of the three ways where the code can be static: with the other two the page is kept by us, and the code is always dynamic.
What a menu built here can do
It is a page of ours, not a picture: it fits itself to the screen, opens on any phone and is edited in your account as many times as you need.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR Code?
The same pattern on paper — different options once it is printed.
- A static code is tied to its link for good, and that link cannot be changed.
- Analytics are not available for codes like this either.
- The link or the file the code leads to can be changed at any moment.
- Analytics show the number of scans, the countries and the devices.
- You can set a password, an expiry date and a limit on how many people it lets in.

A QR Code in your brand colours
Add a logo, your brand colours and the shape of the elements — and the QR Code becomes part of your design on packaging, in a menu, on a business card or in a shop window.
- Logo — upload your own file.
- Colours — set the code, the background or a gradient.
- Shape and eyes — choose the shape of the elements.
- Frame — add a caption and set the style.
- Preset — save the styling for your next QR Codes.
Where a menu QR Code works best
Anywhere the guest has already sat down, or is still deciding whether to come in: on the table, in the window, in the delivery box. The menu changes in your account, and the signs outlive every season.
A table in the room
A sticker or a stand with a QR Code on every table: the guest opens the menu while the waiter is still on the way. The code is the same on all the tables, and one edit in your account changes the prices everywhere at once. Beside it there is a good place for a Google review QR Code.
The window and the board by the door
A code on the door or on an A-board shows the menu to those still deciding whether to come in. Print it large, with “Menu” in the frame — from the pavement it is scanned without coming right up to it.
Delivery and the note in the order
A code on the bag or in the box opens the full menu for the next order — with photographs a printed leaflet never has. To the delivery site itself the way is a URL QR Code.
A bar list, a seasonal and a children’s menu
A separate code for each: the drinks list as a plain list, the seasonal one as cards with photographs. When the season ends, a new menu takes its place behind the same code. A list already laid out in PDF is opened by a PDF QR Code.
A hotel and the room
A code at the desk or in the room leads to the breakfast and room-service menu. The “Phone” and “Wi-Fi” buttons under the menu are particularly welcome there: a guest goes looking for both on the very first evening.
Four checks while the signs are still on hold
Names, prices and photographs have to be readable on a small screen, not only in your account on a big one.
“Menu” or “Point your camera” — the guest should know what is about to open before the phone is even raised.
A table needs a couple of centimetres; the board by the door needs a bigger code — that one is caught on the move and from a distance.
Print one and point a camera at it sitting at the table: that is exactly where the guests will be looking at it from.
