Audio QR Code Generator
Upload a recording — MP3, WAV or M4A — and get a QR Code that opens a page with a player: the person points the camera and listens.

Generate QR CodeWhat an audio QR Code is and how it works
An audio QR Code is a code with your recording behind it: the file itself is kept on our side, and the pattern holds only the short address of a page with a player. No app, no hunting through streaming services: one tap and the sound starts.
This is the page the code opens
- 1They point a camera
The ordinary phone camera — no app and no scanner to install.
- 2A page with a player opens
Only your recording and its name — no third-party adverts, no other people’s tracks beside it, no invitation to subscribe.
- 3They listen — or take it with them
One tap and the sound starts. Below the player sits a download button: the recording stays on the phone, no internet needed.
Why a page sits behind the code rather than the file itself
A direct link to an MP3 ends in the downloads folder on half the phones out there: someone who has just pointed a camera at a label beside an exhibit simply cannot tell what happened. On a page they see at once what is playing and how long it lasts. For the same reason only MP3, WAV and M4A are accepted: every phone opens them, the iPhone included — and labels with a recording are most often scanned with one.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR Code?
The same pattern on paper — different options once it is printed.
- A static code is tied to its link for good, and that link cannot be changed.
- Analytics are not available for codes like this either.
- The link or the file the code leads to can be changed at any moment.
- Analytics show the number of scans, the countries and the devices.
- You can set a password, an expiry date and a limit on how many people it lets in.

A QR Code in your brand colours
Add a logo, your brand colours and the shape of the elements — and the QR Code becomes part of your design on packaging, in a menu, on a business card or in a shop window.
- Logo — upload your own file.
- Colours — set the code, the background or a gradient.
- Shape and eyes — choose the shape of the elements.
- Frame — add a caption and set the style.
- Preset — save the styling for your next QR Codes.
Where an audio QR Code works best
Where the telling has to be done by voice and the label has no room for it: a tour, a pronunciation, a greeting, a demo.
An audio guide in a museum or at an exhibition
A label beside the exhibit instead of a hired player: the visitor listens on their own phone and in their own headphones. The tour can be re-recorded for the next exhibition while the labels stay as they are.
A menu and a wine list
How the name of a dish or a grape is pronounced: the guest listens instead of being shy about asking. The menu itself is easier put together as a menu code of its own.
A card and a present
A spoken greeting on a paper card: the person points a camera and hears you, instead of reading the same words off the page.
A musician’s poster
A demo straight off a poster on a lamppost: the passer-by listens to the track there and then instead of memorising the name to look up in the evening.
A book cover and handouts
A chapter of an audiobook, the pronunciation of phrases in a phrasebook, a spoken guide for blind visitors — where text is no substitute for a voice.
A short check while the labels are still unordered
Check the volume, and that the recording starts where it should rather than with three seconds of silence.
“A tour, 3 minutes” — sound is switched on unwillingly when it is a mystery, all the more in a quiet room.
In a gallery and beside an exhibit that is worth putting on the label itself — the neighbours will be grateful.
Print the code exactly as it will hang and point a camera at it from a step or two away.
