Google Maps QR Code Generator
Type the address in words or paste a link from Google Maps — the QR Code opens the map on your spot, and the route starts with one tap.

Generate QR CodeWhat a Google Maps QR Code is and how it works
A Google Maps QR Code is a code with your address, or a link to your point on Google Maps, written inside it. Someone points a camera, the map opens, and from there it is one step to the route. No more describing the way in words or copying the address off a shopfront.
Pointing a phone at the code is enough — nothing has to be opened beforehand.
With your point in the middle — in Google Maps, or in the browser if the app is not there.
One tap — and the person is walking or driving to your door rather than to the next entrance along.
Street, number, town — as it stands on the shopfront. It turns into a search on Google Maps.
From the “Share” button in Google Maps — it leads exactly where it should; the short form will do as well.
Take a static QR Code: the point lies in the pattern itself and works without us and without an account. A code like that is impossible to spoil — and impossible to correct.
Take a dynamic one: the address is kept in your account and changed there in a minute, while the printed signs, posters and stickers stay where they are.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR Code?
The same pattern on paper — different options once it is printed.
- A static code is tied to its link for good, and that link cannot be changed.
- Analytics are not available for codes like this either.
- The link or the file the code leads to can be changed at any moment.
- Analytics show the number of scans, the countries and the devices.
- You can set a password, an expiry date and a limit on how many people it lets in.

A QR Code in your brand colours
Add a logo, your brand colours and the shape of the elements — and the QR Code becomes part of your design on packaging, in a menu, on a business card or in a shop window.
- Logo — upload your own file.
- Colours — set the code, the background or a gradient.
- Shape and eyes — choose the shape of the elements.
- Frame — add a caption and set the style.
- Preset — save the styling for your next QR Codes.
Where a map QR Code works best
Wherever someone has to be brought right to the door: an invitation, an order box, a sign by the archway, a business card, a pointer at a trade show.
An invitation and a poster
The guest points a camera and has the route at once — instead of retyping the address into a search and arriving in the wrong courtyard. On a poster by the road it is the only way to hand the address to somebody driving past.
Order packaging and the note inside
A customer who fancies coming in person next time has no need to hunt for you on a map: the point already stands where the entrance is.
A sign at the courtyard entrance
That familiar case where the shopfront is in plain sight but how to drive in is anybody’s guess. The code walks a person from the archway to the right door.
A business card and an email signature
An address in words takes three lines, a code takes one small square. If the phone number and the opening hours are wanted too, build a business card QR Code.
A trade-show stand and a wayfinding sign
For a visitor looking for you among a hundred stands, or across the floors of a shopping centre, the code shows both the point and the way to it.
A short check while the sign is still on hold
Move the marker in Google Maps to where people actually need to arrive — to the door, not to the middle of the building.
On yours the map opens in the app you signed into long ago, and a mistake will go unnoticed.
Then when the address changes the signs and the posters stay where they are, and you correct the point in your account.
Scan the code on the spot and follow the directions: it shows at once if they lead to the back door.
